Second COVID lockdown

The Netherlands has had to shut down all its gyms again. It was very necessary and frankly overdue, to be honest. But we're still sad about not being able to climb. We're now reworking our home workouts to be longer. That way we can still get that forearm-pump while not being able to climb.

It may also be a fortunate moment for the gyms to close for at minimum 6 weeks. Lieke has a hand and ankle injury (do not fall while trailrunning), and Arie's rotator cuff is a bit wonky. There will be a lot of rehab work.

At least Arie managed to do some 6C routes which he had as a goal for this year before the shutdown. He's now working on a very crimpy 6B+ with very high foot placements. It was climbed once with two stops, but looks very doable. Lieke is projecting a 6A+ with a lot of laybacks — hopefully it'll still be there when the gyms reopen. She has had a bit of a setback because standing on her toes on the leg with the ankle ligament damage was very hard.
