The COVID Wall

Climbing gyms are still shut in the Netherlands. Luckily we have access to a toprope climbing wall that’s built on the side of a building. We're told that one of the oldest climbing walls in the Netherlands. They said it was built by the army, but we can’t confirm that.

The climbing is…so so. It’s a vertical masonry wall (duh), and has some textured holds built into the masonry. It got boring fast. They can’t change the routes much because they need to place new anchors every time they do that. Still, it’s better than nothing.
